Sole trader? Your 2026 tax return is due 31 October.
If you lodge your own return, the ATO’s cut-off is 31 October 2026. Get on our lodgement list before then and, as a registered tax agent, we can generally give you until May 2027 to lodge — with no late penalty and a local accountant making sure you haven’t missed a deduction.

Get on the list before 31 October
Leave your details and we’ll call you back the same business day with a fixed quote and a short list of what to send us.
No obligation. We’ll never share your details.
Why act before 31 October (not on it)
More time to lodge
Clients of a registered tax agent are on a different lodgement program to self-lodgers. Engage us before 31 October and your due date usually moves out to next year.
Avoid ATO penalties
Failure-to-lodge penalties accrue for every 28 days a return is late, and the ATO also charges interest on any tax owing. Getting ahead of the date is far cheaper than fixing it after.
Claim what you’re entitled to
Home office, vehicle, tools, phone, insurance, super contributions, instant asset write-off — sole traders routinely miss deductions when they self-lodge. We don’t.
How it works
- Book a quick call.
10 minutes on the phone or at our Dee Why office. We confirm your fixed fee and exactly what we need from you. - Send us your records.
Bank statements, invoices, receipts — or just give us access to Xero/MYOB. We’ll sort the rest. - We prepare, you approve, we lodge.
You review the return before anything goes to the ATO. Refunds are paid straight to your account.
Who this is for
Sole traders and small businesses across the Northern Beaches and Lower North Shore — tradies, consultants, health practitioners, hospitality, creatives, rideshare and delivery drivers, and anyone with an ABN and a job on the side. If you also have a company, trust or rental property, we handle those in the same appointment.
Behind on a previous year?
You’re not alone, and it’s easier to fix than you think. We lodge the outstanding years, deal with the ATO on your behalf and set you up so it doesn’t happen again. No judgement — just sorted.
Talk to us about overdue returnsFrequently asked questions
What if I contact you after 31 October?
We can still help, but the agent extension generally only applies if you’re on our client list by 31 October. After that, lodge as soon as possible to keep any penalty to a minimum.
Does everyone get the extended due date?
Most clients do. If you have overdue returns from earlier years the ATO may give you an earlier date — we’ll tell you exactly where you stand on our first call.
How much does a sole trader tax return cost?
We quote a fixed fee up front once we know what’s involved — no hourly surprises. See our pricing & packages page or ask on the call.
I haven’t kept great records. Is that a problem?
It’s common. Bring what you have and we’ll work with you to reconstruct the rest from bank statements and the ATO’s pre-fill data.
Do I need to come into the office?
No — most of our clients deal with us by phone, email and a secure document portal. You’re welcome to visit us at 854A Pittwater Road, Dee Why if you prefer.
Don’t leave it to the last week of October.
Book now and lock in your extension.
