Terms & conditions.
The terms that apply when you sign up online for a Trinity Partners monthly plan.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you sign up online for a Trinity Partners monthly plan (Startup, Growth or Established). “We”, “us” and “Trinity Partners” means Trinity Partners Taxation Service Pty Ltd (ABN 87 678 965 323). “You” means the person or business signing up.
By ticking the box on the sign-up form and submitting it, you accept these terms. Before we start work we will send you a formal engagement letter that confirms the exact scope of our services. If anything in the engagement letter differs from these terms, the engagement letter applies.
2. Your plan and what’s included
All plan fees include GST.
| Plan | Monthly fee (incl. GST) | Summary |
|---|---|---|
| Startup | $399 | ABN and business name registration (ASIC fees not included), monthly bank reconciliation (up to 25 transactions), payroll for 1 employee, quarterly health check |
| Growth | $599 | Reconciliation for up to two bank accounts, payroll for up to 5 employees, Hubdoc data-entry automation, quarterly BAS, monthly health checks |
| Established | $1,100 | Reconciliation for up to three bank accounts, payroll for up to 10 employees, full data-entry automation, monthly reporting, monthly or quarterly BAS |
The full inclusions for each plan are listed on our Pricing page and will be confirmed in your engagement letter.
- Additional payroll: staff above your plan’s limit are charged at $5 per payslip.
- Government fees: plan fees cover our time to prepare and lodge registrations. Government charges, such as ASIC business name registration fees, are not included and are payable by you.
- Tax returns: annual income tax returns (individual, company, trust and partnership) are not included in any plan. They are an additional service, quoted and billed separately.
- Work outside your plan: for example, prior-year catch-up work, income tax returns, audits, ATO disputes, business structuring or advisory projects. We’ll quote this work separately, and only do it once you approve the quote.
- Changing plans: you can move up or down a plan as your business changes. The new fee applies from your next billing date.
3. Fees and payment
- Fees are a fixed monthly amount and include GST. We’ll issue a tax invoice for each payment.
- Payment is collected monthly in advance by direct debit (BECS) or card through our payment provider, Stripe. You authorise the recurring debit when you complete the “Set up Payment” step.
- Your first payment is taken when you set up payment. Later payments are taken on the same day each month.
- We never see or store your full bank or card details; Stripe handles these securely.
- Price changes: we may review our fees. If we do, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ written notice before any change takes effect.
- Failed payments: if a payment is dishonoured, we’ll contact you to arrange payment. If it remains unpaid after 14 days, we may pause work until your account is up to date. Any dishonour or failed-payment fees charged by our bank or payment provider will be passed on to you.
4. Your responsibilities
- You must give us complete, accurate and timely information and records, including access to your accounting software and bank feeds.
- You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for your business and tax decisions.
- Please tell us promptly about changes to your business, such as new staff, new bank accounts, a change of structure or GST registration.
- Lodgement deadlines depend on us receiving your information in time. We aren’t responsible for penalties or interest caused by late or incomplete information from you.
5. Our responsibilities
- We’ll carry out the services with due care and skill, and in line with our professional obligations, including the Tax Practitioners Board Code of Professional Conduct.
- We’ll keep your information confidential, except where we’re required by law to disclose it (for example, to the ATO).
- Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.
6. Starting and changing accountants
If you have a current accountant and ask us to, we’ll contact them for a professional handover (ethical clearance) and to obtain your records. Any fees your previous accountant charges for this are between you and them.
7. Cancelling your plan
- There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days’ written notice by email to [email protected].
- We’ll stop the direct debit after your final billing period. Fees already paid for a month that has started are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- On cancellation we’ll complete any work already paid for, and return or transfer your records as reasonably requested.
- We may end the arrangement with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if fees remain unpaid or we’re required to by our professional obligations.
8. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information to provide our services, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Payment details are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s privacy policy.
9. Consumer law
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded.
10. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time you sign up applies to your plan, and we’ll tell you about any material change.
